In 2024, CUNY increased enrollment and applications, received record-high donations and made other strides in attaining the goals enshrined in our strategic roadmap, which is guiding the University’s transformation. CUNY continued to dominate best value college rankings, expand our academic programs and secure more partnerships to help our students and strengthen our city.
CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez celebrated these successes, including growth in career opportunities and research, during the 2024 State of the University in November, saying, “We have much to be proud of – and so much to celebrate from this past year alone. But we also know we have a lot of work ahead because our ambitions are high.”
