As we approach the weekend of Dec. 21–23, the weather forecast predicts very cold overnight temperatures. To help safeguard our campus facilities, we kindly ask for your cooperation in preparing your offices and work spaces before leaving for the weekend.
Please ensure the following:
- Close all windows in your office, classrooms, labs, and meeting rooms.
- Set fan coil units to the heat setting and leave them ON at all times. This is crucial to prevent freezing pipes and potential damage to our facilities.
- For spaces that may remain unoccupied in your suite or department, please check and turn on the fan coil units in those areas as well.
- If access to locked areas is needed, please contact the Central Plant for assistance.
