The College of Staten Island is proud to welcome three outstanding local students into its incoming class—young women who were recently honored by the Alpha Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a national organization that supports women in education.

As first reported by the Staten Island Advance, high school graduates Emily Hernandez (Petrides), Ashley Arndt (Tottenville) and Savannah Guzman (Susan Wagner) were each awarded scholarships recognizing their academic excellence, leadership, and service. All three honorees have chosen to continue their academic journeys at CSI this fall, bringing their talent and ambition to our diverse and dynamic campus.
