Join the Friends of CSI for their signature Literary Luncheon on Sunday, Oct. 5 from noon to 3:00pm at Osteria Santina (502 Jewett Ave, Staten Island).

This year’s luncheon will feature CSI alumna Barbara Worton ’73 and her new book, Chatterbox: Stories from a Noisy Life—a vivid, humorous, and deeply human collection of personal essays and reflections on family, memory, and the noisy beauty of life. Barbara is an author, poet, playwright, songwriter, and co-founder of Great Little Books. She has published everything from children’s books to essays featured in leading literary journals.

The Friends of the College of Staten Island is a dedicated volunteer organization of community members and the longest-serving volunteer group at the College for more than 49 years. The Literary Luncheon is their signature event, raising vital scholarships to support generations of CSI students.

All proceeds benefit scholarships for deserving CSI students.

Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Register online.

We hope you’ll join us for this special afternoon of stories, community, and support for CSI students.
