As part of the Department of Media Culture’s 25th Anniversary Celebration Series, CSI will host “From Campus to Career” — an engaging alumni panel discussion that highlights the professional paths of Media Culture graduates who have successfully translated their classroom experiences into thriving careers across the media landscape.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 30, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 1P-223.
Participants will include:
- Hala Maroc (‘14) – Multimedia Personality and Entrepreneur
- Matt Provenzano (‘17) – Film & Video Editor at Ford
- Amanda Tukaj (‘19) – Public Relations & Communications Specialist at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP
- Victoria Ifatusin (‘20) – Education Reporter at The Richmonder
- Frank La Monaca (‘04) – Lead Media Systems Engineer at Lucasfilm LTD Industrial Light & Magic
Moderated by faculty from the Department of Media Culture, the panel will explore how alumni have built successful careers in film, communications, journalism, and media production. Students will have the opportunity to hear stories, ask questions, and gain practical advice on navigating the transition from college to career.
The event also serves as a CLUE (Co-Curricular Learning Unit) opportunity and is open to all CSI students interested in learning from alumni who once walked the same halls.
