ALL New York State/CUNY employees are required to receive annual ethics training.
If you have not already completed ethics training in 2025, please be sure to register for one of the following as soon as possible or you will not be in compliance with NYS law.
- For anyone who has not yet been trained in 2025, CSI’s Live CETC Ethics training on Zoom will satisfy your 2025 requirement. **Note, for those of you who completed an online version of training (not live-Zoom training) in 2024, you will need to take a live-Zoom CETC training either through the College by attending the remaining Thursday. Dec. 11, 2025 session listed below, or through the Commission (please see option #3 below):

- For those of you who completed live Zoom training in 2024, but have not yet completed training in 2025, the CSI Online Ethics Refresher course on Brightspace WILL also satisfy your training requirement. Instructions for accessing the CSI Online Ethics Refresher course are screenshotted below. Note, completion of the online course will generate a COMPLETION CERTIFICATE. *Please save a copy of this certificate for your records. ** AFTER MONDAY, DEC. 15, this CSI’s Online Ethics Refresher Course will no longer be available on Brightspace.
- The Commission offers live CETC trainings as well and, now, also offers on-demand ethics training online. Here is a link to the Commission’s Website where you can explore these options further and complete your training before the end on 2025: Education and Training | New York State Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government. When you access this link, toward the middle of the page you will see the words “Get Trained!” Please select either the “LIVE CETC TRAINING” or the “ON-DEMAND ETHICS TRAINING” option and review/register for course offerings.
