Due to an unexpected disruption earlier this week, the College of Staten Island’s gas services are currently unavailable. As a result of this outage, there will be a loss of service for the following:
· Domestic hot water (showers, sinks, etc.) in 1N, 5N, 1R, 1P, 1C kitchen, and 6S
· 1C kitchen appliances
· Natural gas for Bunsen burners in 4N, 5N and 6S labs
· 1R swimming pool heat
· 1R laundry
The College is actively working with CUNY, DASNY, National Grid, and the Department of Buildings (DOB) to resolve this as quickly as possible and to minimize the impact to the campus.
