The premier New York/New Jersey stand-up comedy showcase created for Moms – and anyone who loves to laugh

By popular demand, The College of Staten Island Center for the Arts welcomes back The Mom Coms, the premier New York/New Jersey stand-up comedy showcase created for Moms—and anyone who loves to laugh—on Saturday, November 14, at 7pm in the Williamson Theatre.

Whether you’re navigating motherhood, matrescence, menopause, or simply looking for a fun night out with friends, The Mom Coms delivers an evening of relatable, laugh-out-loud comedy featuring some of the area’s funniest performers.

Headlining the evening is Carole Montgomery, creator and star of the hit Showtime comedy series Funny Women of a Certain Age. With more than 40 years in comedy, Montgomery has performed everywhere from New York’s legendary Catch a Rising Star to Showtime’s Comedy All Stars with Don Rickles. She also spent a decade as a Las Vegas headliner, where The Las Vegas Sun called her one of the city’s premier comics.

Joining Montgomery is Holly Rizzuto Palker, a Staten Island native and St. Joseph Hill graduate who founded and executive produces The Mom Coms comedy show and the 2026 Signal Award-winning podcast. The lineup also features Stephanie Silberstein and GL Douglas, whose hilarious and relatable routines explore the joys, challenges, and absurdities of parenting, relationships, family life, menopause and everything in between.

“We’re delighted to welcome The Mom Coms back to the Center for the Arts,” said Camryn Brescia, Performance Specialist at the CSI Center for the Arts. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for friends to come together, share some laughs, and enjoy a fun night out. We look forward to having them back at CFA and welcoming audiences for an evening of comedy and connection.”

“We’re honored to perform at CSI again for one of our most beloved audiences. It’s heartwarming to get back to my Staten Island roots.” said Holly Rizzuto Palker. “This will be a top-notch humor event where parents and grandparents can commiserate and laugh their worries away. Lucky audience members will walk away with door prizes like Holly’s mom’s homemade lasagna (now a show staple), bedazzled merch, and more. Subscribe to the newsletter, follow us on Instagram @themomcoms, and listen to The Mom Coms Standup and Stories. Be part of our community for a weekly dose of laughter and special discounts.”

More than just a comedy show, The Mom Coms promises a night of laughs and real talk about the wild ride of motherhood. And there’s an added bonus: the $35 ticket includes admission to a pop-up holiday boutique!

Gather your friends for a lively girls’ night out. And yes, husbands and significant others are welcome, too!
