The Career and Scholarship Center will be hosting a professional attire event on Thursday, April 7 during Club Hours called “Clothes the Deal.” The event is focused on helping our students create a professional interview image for upcoming job fairs and internship/job interviews.
As you already know, many of our students are first-generation college graduates who do not have the money or resources to purchase that all-important business suit. It is therefore our objective to have gently used interview attire available to distribute at the event.
Nicely tailored jackets, skirts, pants, and interview suits or separates are what we are looking for. We need donations that would fit our male and female students in various sizes:
–Female: petite through size 10
–Male: medium through extra-large jackets and pants
Please drop off your donations at the Career and Scholarship Center in Building 1A, Room 105.
