The campus community is invited to a special screening of Bulworth, followed by a Q&A session with the film’s co-writer, Jeremy Pikser, an alumnus of Richmond College on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Williamson Theatre from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.
Jeremy Pikser won the LA Critics Award for his work on Bulworth, as well as Oscar, Golden Globe, and Writer’s Guild nominations for best screenplay.
He has recently completed a screenplay about radical lawyer William Kunstler with Walter Bernstein, and a comedy, Me 2 with Mark Leyner. He was a writer on the Web series on Hulu, Farmed and Dangerous, a satire about industrial agriculture.
Currently Vice President of the Writer’s Guild of America East, he has also advised at screenwriting labs in the UK, France, Italy, Brazil, Jordan, Ecuador, and Turkey.
