Last Friday evening, the College experienced a second failure within three days of one of the two electrical feeders that service the campus. While the remaining feeder is capable of providing service to most of the campus operations, it is unable to take the load of two chillers. Because of this limitation, the campus will be operating with only one chiller, which will reduce our cooling capability in the buildings. It is highly recommended that staff, faculty, and students, where appropriate, save and back up their work. College personnel are working with Con-Ed, the University, and the Dormitory Authority to complete the necessary repairs as quickly as possible.
