The Schwerner Writers Series presents Monica Sok on Thursday, Feb. 18 in the Library Archive Room (Building 1L, Room 216) from 2:30pm to 4:00pm.
Monica Sok is a Cambodian poet from Lancaster, PA. A Kundiman fellow, Sok has received scholarships from Squaw Valley, Napa Valley, and Bread Loaf writers’ conferences. Her poems appear or are forthcoming in Narrative, Crab Orchard Review, and Ninth Letter, among others. Sok holds a MFA degree from New York University, and currently lives in Brooklyn. Her manuscript, Year Zero, recently won the 2015 Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship.
