The College of Staten Island men’s tennis is coming off of a nice CUNYAC win last Thursday which saw them defeat York College 8-1. The Dolphins will take on Rutgers-Camden today at 3:30 pm at the CSI Tennis Center in Staten Island, NY.  Today’s match is a make-up from when the game had to be rescheduled back on March 29.

Players to Watch (CSI):  CSI’s Andrew Adia had a great afternoon on Thursday, scoring 6-0, 6-0 wins from the number one slot against York.  Adia is now 6-5 on the year and 3-3 in CUNYAC play.   Mohamed El Sayed has been a nice addition to the team and in 3-1 overall and 2-0 in CUNYAC play and is coming off of a 6-0, 6-3 win over York College.
Players to Watch (RU-C):  Jason Lin is the only Raptor that is .500 or better on his team.  He does his best work from court five where he is 5-4 however he is on a two match losing streak. Ryan Christopher and Anthony Gendin play well together and form the most formidable team the Raptors have to offer and are 4-6 overal.
News and Notes: The Dolphins come into today’s match on a one match winning streak while the Raptors are on a two match losing streak. Today’s match signifies the one of the last two matches of the regular season for each team. The Raptors took on John Jay College earlier in the year and defeated them 6-3 while the Dolphins recently fell to the Bloodhounds in a tight match, 4-5.
