Join CUNY at NYC Pride this year.
On Sunday, June 26 The City University of New York (CUNY) will once again sponsor and participate in the NYC Pride Parade. CUNY is deeply proud of its students, alumni, faculty, and staff who are members of the LGBT community and we would like to extend an invitation to members of the CUNY community to participate in this wonderful celebration.
The streets of New York will be festive and energized during the LGBT Pride Parade. There will be floats, costumes, and spontaneous dance parties bringing together residents, families, community leaders, and businesses, while attracting thousands of out-of-state visitors to celebrate togetherness, open-mindedness, and acceptance.
During Pridefest, the streets will be filled with a vibrant mixture of food vendors, sponsors, musicians, and entertainers. CUNY will also have a large tent and plenty of giveaways.
Please join us as we ride the CUNY float down 5th avenue and proudly wave the rainbow flag. Please feel free to invite your friends, just make sure that they they RSVP Online.
