Michael Batson has been an Adjunct Lecturer in both the History Department and the CORE 100 program at the College of Staten Island since 2000. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History in 1993 and his Master of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies in 2000, both from the College of Staten Island. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has held elected office in both the College and University Senate, and has served on numerous committees such as CORE 100’s Assessment Committee, CORE 100’s Textbook Editorial Committee, and the Task Force on Adjunct Faculty.
