The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball program returns to the court this afternoon in a tri-match at St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn. The Dolphins will take on St. Joseph’s and Cedar Crest at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Margaret O’Malley-Rebovich has frustrated opponents at the net so far this season and has collected 19 blocks, 10 solo. The Dolphins will need solid play from Jessica Cafiero as she paces the way with 99 assists on the year. Cafiero will look to set up her teammates en route to a pair of wins this afternoon.
Players to Watch (SJCBK): Tiffany Garcia-Lawson is the threat at the net for the Bears as she leads the team with 37 kills.Paige Csikortos is the Bears’ leading assist getter. Csikortos has tallied 83 assists on the year as well as supplying six service aces.
Players to Watch (CC): Nicole Hill leads the Falcons with 86 kills, good for her team to boast a 7-3 record. Setting her up for success this season has been Devyn Crowder as she leads her team with 126 assists.
News and Notes: The Dolphins were able to snap a three-match losing skid with a sweep over York College on Tuesday night. The Dolphins will look to use that momentum to pick up a pair of wins this afternoon. After starting their season 2-1, the bears have dropped their last two matches, dropping them to 2-3 on the year. The Falcons have won three of their last five matches, sweeping their opponents in the three wins.
