News & Notes: The CSI-CCNY series goes back to 1981, and the Dolphins have a healthy 38-22 edge in the series, but as of late it’s been almost all CSI as they have won 29 of the last 30 games in the series after CCNY dominated the early years. The Beavers did break a 27-game CSI win streak in the series in February of 2016 with a two-point road win, but CSI responded by taking both wins in the season series a year ago by a combined 43 points. The Dolphins are 1-1 at home this season, and have not played a home game since November 20. The Dolphins are 18-9 all-time at home against CCNY and have won the last 14 games here at the Sports & Recreation Center. CCNY’s last win in Staten Island was in February of 1996, a 57-41 Beavers win.
