Several important steps have been taken since our Nov. 13, 2009 Information Sharing event. We have had a follow-up meeting with President Morales that included his full Cabinet plus the HEO Screening Committee. Ongoing meetings are planned for spring 2010.
We discussed issues of concern to HEOs at CSI including the processes of reclassification and merit pay increases; specific professional development opportunities, both at CSI and off campus; and College Council bylaws in effect since 2001.
Thus, the coming spring 2010 term will be busy as usual and we hope that each of you will have the time to join us as your calendars permit at our regularly scheduled HEO Steering Committee meetings and other planned events.
