October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As many of you know, October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To enhance awareness and show CSI’s support of ending domestic violence, we invite you to dress in purple on this year’s national “Wear Purple Day,” which is Thursday, Oct. 18.

The New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV), the College of Staten Island, and CUNY are committed to creating a safe work environment for all employees. If you have a question or concern about domestic violence, please contact any of the CSI OPDV Liaisons listed below, who have been specially trained to understand and respond to domestic violence issues:
