For those Instructors using Collaborate within their courses today, please be aware that Collaborate is experiencing a few glitches with their call-in option. CUNY was notified this morning that Collaborate customers using the telephone option may get a message stating the call cannot be completed as dialed or a busy signal. The Blackboard operations team is actively investigating the issue. However, in the mean time, they are instructing folks to please use a browser on your computer or mobile phone to use Voip for audio in the Collaborate session.
In addition to the dial-in issue, and out of an abundance of caution, Blackboard is also opting to disable specific features within Collaborate that can impact overall system stability in order to maintain the highest continuity of service possible.
