On Monday, April 19, 2021, Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2021 was signed into New York State Law. This legislation provides an Early Retirement Incentive option, only to certain employees of the City of New York and the NYC Board/Department of Education.
The City University of New York is excluded from Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2021, meaning that we do not have the option to offer an Early Retirement Incentive.
