For the week of Feb. 28 to Mar. 4, the CSI Library’s hours will continue to be Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We anticipate extending our hours early next month. Please continue to check our homepage for updates, as well as an email notification.
The Library’s in-person Reference Services are available from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. However, please continue to use our 24/7 Chat Reference Service available on our homepage and Contact Us page. We also encourage students to use our Research Appointment Request Form to schedule a virtual consultation with Library faculty for one-on-one help with in-depth research assignments.
A new self-check system is located by the Circulation/Reserves Desk to check out circulating books from the third floor. To drop off circulating books, please use the secure book return “mailbox” located outside the Library doors or the window slots located immediately to the left of the Library’s entrance.
During this time, study rooms will not be available. However, students taking online classes may continue to use all three floors of the Library, as well as other open labs on campus, using headphones so not to disturb others.
Faculty requesting Library Instruction for the Spring semester should complete the Library Instruction Request Form.
A suite of Instructional Videos for Library Research is available to learn information literacy concepts and skills, as well as how to identify and access credible resources.
For other inquiries, please visit our Student Services and Faculty Services Web pages.
As a reminder, for off-campus access to the Library’s electronic resources, students, faculty, and staff use their CUNYfirst log-in credentials rather than their SLAS/FLAS credentials. However, your SLAS/FLAS will continue to be used to access the Library’s computers and WiFi.
In order to promote a safe and conducive study environment, the Library will enforce the current mask mandate. To help maintain the well-being of our community, failure to comply will result in removal from the Library. As in the past, food and drink are not permitted in the Library.
Please continue to check our homepage for updates.
All the best for a safe and productive semester.
