TeacherCertification.com has listed the College of Staten Island Number 1 out of 25 on its list of schools where early-career Education graduates earn the highest salaries.
Commenting on CSI’s latest accolade, Interim President Timothy G. Lynch noted that, “I am pleased to see that the College has, once again, received recognition for the value and impact of our programs. I congratulate the School of Education for offering high-quality programs that provide its graduates with the opportunity to achieve their professional goals with a higher earnings potential in a competitive job market.”
According to TeacherCertification.com, their methodology in compiling the list employed data “from the Department of Education… determined, by median earnings three years post-graduation, which colleges yielded the highest-earning students with undergraduate degrees in teaching and education for grades K-12 – from early childhood and elementary education through high school. Data is from the 2020-2021 school year representing undergraduate students from the class of 2018. The average cost of attendance, as shown for each school listed, includes books costs, as well as living-related expenses.”
