College of Staten Island staffer Nicholas Durst, a voice on CSI SportsNet, the broadcast home of CSI Athletics, and soon-to-be Social Media Manager within the Office of Communications and Marketing was recently featured by the Staten Island Advance for the very successful podcast he created, “You Know I’m Right.”
Written by the Advance’s Tracey Porpora, the feature chronicles Durst’s career as a media showrunner, producer, and content creator, and his podcasting passion project started with collaborator Joseph Calabrese during the COVID pandemic. The podcast features some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, sharing their “you know I’m right” moment with the Staten Island duo, while shining a light on their breakthroughs into the industry.
Durst provides commentary for sports broadcasts in Athletics and will soon-to-be joining the overall Communications team at the College part-time as its first-ever Social Media Manager. Durst is a former Social Media Producer for The Shark Group, producing for Shark Tank personality Daymond John, and some of his other stops include Bleacher Report and Underknown.
