CSI-TV’s series, Dolphin Origin Stories, continues with another episode today, this time featuring former College of Staten Island Student Government President and alumnus Emanoil Shafik. Dolphin Orgin Stories is a show dedicated to sharing the unique journeys of students, alumni, faculty, and staff at the College of Staten Island and is hosted by Nick Durst.
On this episode, Shafik talked about his decision to attend CSI and subsequent course of study. He spoke about the opportunities he was afforded at CSI that allowed him to pursue the medical field, serve as Student Government President, and later, Yale University to pursue podiatry.
Each episode of Dolphin Origin Stories will feature a different member of the campus community, showcasing their personal stories and what led them to become part of the College. From transfer students to first-generation college attendees, athletes to scholars, distinguished professors to essential staff, the show will highlight the diversity and determination of CSI’s campus body.
