On Friday, September 19, the Staten Island Industrial Alliance (SIIA) and the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) are teaming up for the first-ever Staten Island Transportation & Infrastructure Summit, which will be held at the College of Staten Island’s Center for the Arts, and the College community is invited.
The summit is a chance to hear about projects shaping Staten Island’s transit and infrastructure future, to learn about upcoming workforce opportunities at the career table, and connect with leaders in the public and private sectors. CSI students will be able to explore opportunities and use the Staten Island Transportation & Infrastructure Summit to make real connections.
CSI students should use the code “CSISTUDENT” at the ticket registration page for free access to summit discussions and the career table. Breakfast and lunch is not included. Visit the Eventbrite page at http://bit.ly/46eErD4 to view the event agenda and gain access to tickets now.
Focusing on key areas such as transportation, domestic energy, sustainability, economic development, and resiliency, the summit offers a comprehensive look at the infrastructure developments driving the borough’s growth. Experts and leaders will share the latest updates on initiatives aimed at building a more resilient, sustainable community. Through informative sessions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how these projects will impact Staten Island and create new opportunities.
