Join us for a film screening of Bringing Science and Activism: Participatory Filmmaking in Borderlands with a Q&A with Professor Kevin Smets and Filmmaker Irene Gutierrez-Torres. The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 17 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P), Room 223 from 10:15am to noon.
The presentation compresses three short films that resulted from the participatory filmmaking workshops set in the Irish border, the Moroccan-Spanish border, and the Turkish-Syrian border.
