Navigate Training (All Users) – Introduction to Navigate
Navigate is a collaborative advisement virtual tool that aims to improve student retention and boost academic success. Tailored for new users or those seeking a refresher, this session introduces the fundamentals of Navigate. We will guide you through how to log in, access student profiles, understand the student view, send communications, document student interactions, and create student lists.

Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 2:30pm held Via Zoom

Navigate Training (All Users) – Setting Up Availability to Allow Students to Make Appointments

Learn how to set your availability so students can easily schedule appointments. This session covers syncing your Outlook calendar with Navigate, creating appointment availability, and launching an appointment campaign—a single email sent to a targeted group of students that allows them to choose a meeting time based on your availability, eliminating back-and-forth emails. Navigate is a collaborative advisement virtual tool that aims to improve student retention and boost academic success.

Navigate Training (For Faculty) – Submitting Progress Reports

Learn how to submit your progress reports for the students in your courses. In this session, we will guide faculty through the step-by-step instructions to fill out your Progress Reports, which work as a mid-semester check-in to help your students succeed in your courses and find appropriate resources and support on campus. Navigate is a collaborative advisement virtual tool that aims to improve student retention and boost academic success.  

Tuesday, Apr. 21 at 2:30pm held Via Zoom

Navigate Training (All Users) | Using Advanced Search and Reports

In this session, you’ll learn how to use advanced search and reporting tools to create targeted student cohorts, analyze meeting and student data, and monitor progress. You can use these results to build student lists, launch appointment campaigns, and track analytics. One especially useful feature for faculty is the ability to identify and reach targeted students to promote next semester’s courses—even if those students are not currently enrolled in their classes. Navigate  is a collaborative advisement virtual tool that aims to improve student retention and boost academic success.  

In addition to the above trainings, Navigate Office Hours will be held via Zoom every Thursday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, starting on Thursday, Jan. 29 and available through Thursday, Apr. 23
