As outlined in the guide, we strongly recommend encouraging students to access Zoom sessions directly through the Zoom-CSI tool within Brightspace rather than through a shared Zoom link. Accessing Zoom from within Brightspace authenticates students through the College’s systems, helping ensure that only enrolled students can join course meetings and reducing the risk of unauthorized participants.
The guide also includes recommended security settings, such as enabling authenticated users only and using Brightspace as the primary access point for online class meetings.
