The Office of Buildings and Grounds has identified 30 light poles, which are along the Loop Road, as potential hazards because of the deteriorating bases. The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) has contracted with a vendor to secure and replace these poles. Therefore, you may notice wood and metal bracing on the poles identified until the replacement poles arrive. We anticipate the order for the new poles to be filled within six to eight weeks. At that time the bracing will be removed and a new poles will be installed.
