Jacob Collins received his PhD in Modern European History from UCLA in 2013. His research focuses on the history of political thought in France in the 1960s and 70s, and the history of European liberalism. Jacob grew up in upstate New York and is very excited to return to his home state after ten years in southern California. He will be teaching courses on the histories of modern France and Italy at CSI.
