As you may be aware, Provost Gary Reichard has announced his retirement effective December 2018. The firm “Academic Search” has been retained to assist in the search for a new Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.

On Wednesday, Apr. 25, and Thursday, Apr. 26, the firm’s President, Dr. L. Jay Lemons, and Vice President, Dr. Andrea Warren Hamos, will be visiting the College. They will be conducting initial meetings with various campus constituents as set forth below to discuss the search process and to receive feedback which will assist in developing the position description and recruitment strategies.

If you are not a member of a constituent group, we encourage you to attend the Town Hall Meeting, which will be held on Apr. 25 from 2:35pm – 3:35pm. Academic Search will continue to meet with, and be informed by, faculty, staff, and students in future visits to the campus.

We encourage you to have a voice in the process, and we look forward to seeing you there.
