Dolphins Digest

The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s track & field teams made their varsity debut at the Springfield Invitational this past weekend, and recently, Ellis Simon of the City University of New York Athletic Conference caught up with some key components of the team to chronicle CSI’s rise from club to varsity program.

The CSI Indoor Track & Field programs will resume their 2018-19 slate in mid-January, leading to the CUNYAC Championship in late-February.  That will then bleed into the outdoor competitive season, where CSI will debut again for the first time as a varsity team.
