As the holiday season approaches, we cannot help but be reminded of how fortunate we all are to be a part of the CSI family. Some are not as fortunate, and the current economic conditions are extremely challenging for them. However, CSI has always embraced the spirit of giving. Within this context, I invite each of you to actively participate in the 2009 CUNY Cares Toy Drive.
This is the second year of the CUNY Cares Toy Drive and we want to make sure that we participate to the fullest. The toys gathered during this drive will be distributed to children of our students in CUNY Child Care centers. We want to ensure that all of CUNY’s children will receive a holiday gift that warms their hearts, brightens their eyes, and puts smiles on their faces.
Cynthia Murphy of the CSI Child Care Center will coordinate this year’s efforts. You can help by bringing a new unwrapped gift to the Child Care Center located in Building 2R.
I have no doubt that you will reach out and help our children because at CSI that’s what we do.
