The Homeland Security Summer Scholars Program is now accepting applications.

The Homeland Security Summer Scholars Program offers students interested in careers in homeland security the opportunity to:

-Work with professors on research in homeland security and create a research poster based on that experience
-Obtain an undergraduate certificate in North American Relations with a Border Security emphasis
-Network with other students from across the United States
-Visit homeland security agencies and learn from experts in the field

To be eligible, students must be juniors or seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. All majors are welcome. The program is hosted by the National Center for Border Security and Immigration at the University of Texas at El Paso.
