The College of Staten Island women’s tennis squad will see its non-conference match against the College of New Rochelle, originally scheduled for this afternoon at 4pm at the CSI Tennis Center postponed due to the rainy conditions. A tentative make-up has been set for Thursday, October 6, at 4pm at CSI.
CSI women’s tennis is 1-4 this season and 1-1 in CUNYAC play, and are looking to turn back a two game losing skid. Freshman Alena Vedeneeva had a sensational week last week, earning CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors. The Dolphins will resume their normal schedule when they take on Medgar Evers College at 3:30pm on Thursday at home. They will follow that up with another CUNYAC test on Saturday, when they host Lehman College at 1pm.
