The New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Ernesto Malavé Scholarship Award is now accepting applications.
The mission of the New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NYCHCC) is to represent and advocate for Hispanic businesses and to help Hispanic students succeed academically and achieve their professional goals.
To be eligible for the Ernesto Malavé Scholarship, students must:
-be U.S. citizens of Hispanic descent
-be majoring in Finance
-have maintained a GPA of at least 3.0.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate financial need and an interest in playing a supportive role in the Hispanic business community.
The application deadline for this scholarship is Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.
