The Center for International Service announces the Spring 2012 World on Wednesday (WOW) Lecture Series. All lectures will take place on Wednesdays in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge (except the Mar. 28 lecture, which will take place in the Campus Center, Room 211) from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.
WOW is especially intended to inspire students to want to learn more about the world during their time at CSI. Discussions in the series serve to introduce and encourage students to participate in the wide range of study abroad programs available to them through the Center for International Service. Speakers talk about their own personal experience and present their topics in an informal style, including audio-visual tools.
The World on Wednesday series is sponsored by the Center for International Service. Class participation is welcome, and lectures are approved for CC CLUE credit.
If you wish to participate or suggest a speaker, please contact Winnie Brophy at the Center for International Service at 718.982.2100 or winnie.brophy@csi.cuny.edu.
