Applications are now being accepted for the Ford Foundation Summer Internship Program.

The Ford Foundation is an independent, nonprofit grant-making organization. For more than half a century, it has worked with visionary people on the frontlines of social change worldwide, guided by its mission to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, promote international cooperation, and advance human achievement. The Summer Internship Program provides paid employment opportunities to New York City residents who are currently full-time undergraduate students, receiving significant financial aid for their education. Qualifications for all positions include a grade point average of 2.5 or better. Positions are available in departments throughout the Foundation, including Accounting and Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, Communications and Investments, and in grant-making units such as the Democracy, Rights, and Justice Program; Economic Opportunity and Assets Program; and the Education, Creativity, and Freedom of Expression Program.

All majors are welcome to apply.

The deadline to apply for the program is Monday, Apr. 16, 2012.
