On Friday, May 18, we informed the College community of a suspected bedbug on the first floor of the Library (Building 1L). This report was of a single bug. The College brought a licensed exterminator to campus to assess the situation and found no evidence of additional bedbugs. The College proactively treated the entire first floor of the Library and implemented a monitoring program. The exterminator’s follow-up report, which is based upon inspection of monitoring stations placed throughout the Library, found no evidence of any additional bedbugs, living or dead.
The health and safety of our campus community is of paramount concern, and we will continue to monitor and assess the situation to ensure the integrity of our facilities.
