Christina Jacob was the Dolphins lone senior honor in a pre-game ceremony.

The Dolphins defeated SUNY-Maritime on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference competition. CSI stretched to a 10-5 record while the Privateers of Maritime fell to a 1-18 record.

CSI also celebrated Senior Day honoring four year player Christina Jacob in a small pre-game ceremony.

CSI scored their first goal just six minutes into the game with an unassisted shot from freshman Kyrsta Percaccio. Not even 30 seconds later, Demi-Jean Martorano’s pass from midfield found the foot of Samantha Wysokowski for CSI’s second goal.

In the 20th minute, Martorano scored her 54th career goal, breaking the CSI all-time career record for goals. Her goal was assisted by Wysokowski with a left corner shot.

Martorano tallied her second goal of the game just minutes later off of a long pass from Melissa Gelardi for a 4-0 lead. Wysokowski followed with the Dolphins 5th goal with a header off of another Gelardi assist.

Liana Denaro scored on a cross pass from Megan Collins to put the score at 6-0 with 12 minutes to go in the first half.

Totaling 18 shots in the second half, the Dolphins were silent on the board.

CSI will host CCNY on Thursday, October 25, in a 4:00 pm conference contest. The Dolphins will close out the regular season on Saturday, October 27th in a 12 noon non-conference match against Ramapo College.
