The College of Staten Island men’s baseball team, scheduled to play their home opener today against SUNY-Old Westbury today at 4:30pm, was once again affected by Mother Nature, as the game has been officially postponed. The heavy rains yesterday made conditions at the CSI Baseball Complex unplayable this afternoon, warranting the postponement.
A make-up has not been scheduled at this time. CSI’s next contest will be on the road on Saturday for an 11am doubleheader against SUNY-Maritime. CSI will then try again for a home opener on Sunday, when they welcome in Yeshiva University at 12 Noon for a CUNYAC doubleheader.
