The College of Staten Island men’s baseball squad is back in action this afternoon, taking on visiting Vaughn College at the Tomas D. Morales Field at CSI at 12 Noon for a non-conference doubleheader. Admission to the games is free, but if you can’t make it to the games you can listen live via WSIA. The call is available on the radio dial locally on 88.9FM, and on the internet at www.wsia.fm.
CSI is 8-7 overall this season, having recently won the last time they took the field this past Thursday against Lehman College. CSI scored a 6-5, come-from-behind, victory to improve their CUNYAC mark to 3-1. For the Warriors, this will be their first baseball games of the season, after seeing a slew of other games on their schedule washed away due to the rain. The two teams have never met in their history.
