The safety of our students, staff, faculty, and guests is important, and the College of Staten Island has implemented new security measures to ensure the safety of everyone. Backpacks, tote bags, and any bag larger than 12 inches in any dimension will not be allowed into any of the Commencement venues. We ask that you leave these items at home or in your vehicle. All bags are subject to search by Public Safety staff. If you see any packages or bags unattended, please notify a Public Safety Officer immediately. We will also have in place Explosive Detection Canine teams throughout the day.
