Dr. Calvin Holder received the Education Award at The New York Urban League’s 49th Annual Mills G. Skinner Awards Gala.
Additional honorees included: Lucille Herring, who received the Health and Social Welfare Award; Minnie Graham and Veronica Peart, who received the Charles Langere Community Service Award, and Catherine Barnett, who received the Clarence “Butch” Mangin Award.
The awards were created to honor the Rev. Mills G. Skinner for his long and dedicated service, constructive leadership and unwavering spiritual guidance to the Staten Island community.
