The last time these two teams met was in January 31, 2014, in Staten Island, NY, where the Bearcats were able to defeat the Dolphins in a CUNYAC contest 86-58.  The Dolphins lead the Bearcats all-time with a 24-19 overall record however, Baruch has been dominant as of late and have beaten the Dolphins in 14 of the last 15 meetings.

Baruch College comes into tonight’s game with a 2-3 overall record and coming off of a big CUNYAC contest win over the Hawks of Hunter College 75-50.  Four of the five Bearcat starters are averaging 11+ points per game in this young season.  Senior forward, Sheridan Taylor, is recording a double-double in every game this season as she averages 12.6 points and 11.2 rebounds per contest.  Baruch leads the CUNYAC in scoring as a team as they are scoring 71.6 points through five games.  The Hawks will want to secure their second CUNYAC win of the season tonight against the Dolphins and will lean on their four senior starters to make that happen.

The Dolphins come into tonight’s game coming off of a tough loss to Western Connecticut State 50-60.  CSI shot just 29 % in the game which ultimately contributed to the loss.  The women will hope to bounce back tonight and shoot the ball with confidence to claim their second CUNYAC win of the season.  CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, freshman forward, Christina Pasaturo, will lead the scoring charge for the Dolphins as she is currently leading the team with 14 points per game.
