The last time these two teams met was on January 31, 2014, in Staten Island, NY, where the Dolphins defeated the Bearcats 92-67.  Bloochy Magloire and Jonathan Chadwick-Myers both scored 20+ points enroute to that victory.  The Dolphins are 48-18 against the Bearcats all-time and have won six of the last seven meetings.

Baruch College, winners of three straight, come into the Dolphin Tank tonight looking to win their second CUNYAC game in a row.  The Bearcats have been dominating teams early this season as they have won three of their four games by 15+ points.  Baruch’s defense has been outstanding as they are only allowing opponents to score 59 points on them which lead’s the CUNYAC for least points allowed per game.  Chimaechi Ekekeugbor leads the Bearcats in both scoring and rebounding categories with 15.6 ppg and 7.8 rpg.

The Dolphins are coming off of a convincing 87-74 win over Montclair University which improved their record to 3-2 overall.  Junior forward, Will Fonseca, leads the CUNYAC in scoring and rebounding as he is currently scoring 28 points and grabbing 13.2 rebounds per game.  Third on the CUNYAC scoring list is sophomore guard, Frankie Schettino, who is scoring 22 points per game while finding his open teammates and averaging 7.4 assists per game which is the best in the CUNYAC.  CSI will need to find holes in the Bearcats tough defense tonight and continue their high scoring output.
