The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team will take to the road to take on the John Jay College Bloodhounds in another CUNYAC battle.  The Dolphins recently lost to Baruch College in a very competitive game which saw them on the losing side of a 81-70 score line.  CSI is 49-12 all-time against the Bloodhounds and will want to get back to their winning ways against a struggling Bloodhounds team.

The Bloodhounds are 2-6 overall and 1-2 in CUNYAC action this season.  Sophomore forward, Korede Griffith has been very strong this season and is leading John Jay with 17 points per game.  John Jay is coming off of a narrow 83-80 victory over the City College of NY Beavers and will hope the momentum from that game will carry over against the Dolphins.

The Dolphins are coming off a loss against Baruch College that broke their 22 home game win streak.  CSI has won four of the last five meetings against the Bloodhounds with the sole loss coming at John Jay back on January 1, 2013 by a slim three point margin.  The duo of Frankie Schettino and Will Fonseca will hope to bounce back from a quiet game where they both scored well below their season average.
