The last time these two teams met was on December 11, 2014, in New York, NY, where the Dolphins were able to come home with a narrow 95-90 victory over the Bloodhounds.  CSI leads 50-12 all-time over John Jay and have won 9 of the last 10 meetings and have not lost to John Jay at the CSI Sports & Rec Center since February 16, 2008.

The Bloodhounds come into tonight’s game on a three game losing streak and only three wins on the season.  Kris Owens is the standout player on the Bloodhounds as he averages 20.9 points per game.  Kendal Jordan works hard on both sides of the floor protecting the boards and limiting second chance points.

The men are coming off of a huge comeback win against St. Joseph’s – Brooklyn, 92-87.  The win was their sixth in a row, three of which came against CUNYAC opponents.  Will Fonseca continues to lead the nation in double-doubles with 17 in 18 games.  Other than leading in double-doubles he also leads the CUNYAC in points and rebounds per game (25.3/12.4).  Frank Schettino the CUNYAC’s leading assister (7.9 per game) will continue to find the open player in tonight’s game while pouring in his fair share of points.  CSI will look to continue their win streak in the latter half of the season with the playoffs approaching quickly.
