Last Meeting: January 25, 2014, at the CSI Sports & Rec Center in Staten Island, NY, where the Dolphins were able to defeat the Bulldogs 86-58.  The Dolphins lead Brooklyn College 36-13 all-time and have won the last eight meetings.

Brooklyn College, winners of 10 straight, comes into this afternoon’s game with a 10-1 overall record and an offense that is ranked No. 1 in the CUNYAC with 87 points per game. Junior forward, Egzon Gjonbalaj, is leading the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding as he is posting an average of 16.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.  Brooklyn College also has senior center, Valon Djombalic who is not only leading his team in FG% but also the CUNYAC.

CSI comes into today’s game 5-4 after losing a close game in the 13th Annual Tournament of Heroes to William Paterson University.  The Dolphins have the CUNYAC’s leading scorer and rebounder, junior forward, Will Fonseca as he is posting an impressive 26.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game.  Sophomore guard, Frankie Schettino, leads the CUNYAC and the entire nation in assists per game at 7.9.  CSI’s defense will need to play tough tonight against a very potent offense if they want to claim their third CUNYAC win and stop the charging Bulldogs.
